On anticoagulants (blood thinners) or long term use of aspirin,/ibuprofen

Auto-immune disease (Consult with your Doctor)

Have history with Keloid scarring

Have active cold sores
PRE-APPOINTMENT
-
Discontinue use of products that contain glycolic acids, retin-a, AHA's, vitamin A, Vitamin D, Omega 3, or any products that increase cell turn over or thin the skin 2 weeks prior to appointment

Waxing or brow shaping should be done at least 3 days prior to appointment
-
Brow tinting should be done at least 1 week prior to appointment
-
Botox or fillers should be done at least 2 weeks prior to appointment
-
Do NOT consume alcohol, caffeine, or blood thinners (ibuprofen, aspirin, niacin 24 hours prior to appointment
-
No sunburns on the area
-
No chemical peels or laser 4 weeks prior to appointment
-
No microdermabrasion or dermaplaning 2 weeks prior to appointment
AFTERCARE
-
After care is a crucial part of the healing process and it is very important to follow these instructions for the full 10 day period post appointment to ensure proper healing and color retention.

We provide you an aftercare kit containing cleanser and aftercare ointment
-
Use a small pea size amount of cleanser (lather in hands) to GENTLY wash your brows morning and night everyday for 7-10 days or until any flaking has stopped
-
After cleansing, blot your brows completely with a clean towel. Do not allow water to sit on the brow area.

Apply aftercare ointment after cleansing and blotting morning and night. Use a small amount (rice size for each brow)

Do not touch the brows unless you are cleaning them (use clean hands)
THINGS TO AVOID POST APPOINTMENT
-
Do NOT expose your brows to the sun or tanning booth during the healing process. UV rays can alter the pigment and retention
-
Do NOT sweat excessively for the first 10 days. Sweat contains salt that can infect your brows and alter your pigment and retention
-
Do NOT run water over your brow area. Avoid getting your face wet in the shower or while washing your face for the first 10 days (use a clean wash cloth or makeup wipe to carefully wash around the brows)

Do NOT use makeup or any other skin care items on your brow area for the first 10 days.

Do NOT go in a sauna, pool, or steam room for the first 10 days
-
Do NOT get massages or facials for 2 weeks post appointment
-
Sleep on a freshly cleaned pillow case
-
Do NOT itch or remove any flakes (let them fall off naturally)
-
Do NOT touch your brows unless you are cleaning them with clean hands
